They become a reality,
starting this Saturday.
United Airlines this week will begin nonstop Saturday flights between Houston's Bush Intercontinental Airport and Havana, according to the airline.
United will operate a Boeing 737 for the Houston flight, as well as daily nonstop service between Newark Liberty International Airport and Havana's José Martà International Airport. Newark flights began Tuesday.
This
had been in the works for most of the year. The question is
whether this service will actually last.
